Technical Overview

Eterra 5 Ft. Sickle Bar Mower for Excavator The Eterra 5 ft. sickle bar mower for excavators is the most affordable way to put shear-cut mowing on the end of a boom. At 5 feet it is the shortest and lightest bar in the excavator range, which makes it the right choice for smaller carriers and for work threading between culverts, headwalls, sign posts and trees. Rated for 820 GPM . Available from Skid Steer Store . Why Mow From an Excavator Boom Reach over, not drive through cut ditch bottoms, banks and water's edge with the machine on stable ground. Angle the bar to the slope boom articulation follows terrain a direct-mount mower cannot. Almost no thrown material shearing drops cuttings in place near traffic and property. Low hydraulic draw runs on 820 GPM, within reach of small and mid excavators. Cuts wet and aquatic growth reeds and cattails that clog a flail.
